Nina Kaiser Bronze Equine Sculpture

SUAVE DANCER

Commissioned by Cash Asmussen and John Hammond in 1992

SUAVE DANCER, a bronze equine sculpture by Nina Kaiser Equine Bronze sculptures. Commissioned by Cash Asmussen and John Hammond in 1992.

"I saw Suave Dancer in France, watching him train on the gallops in Chantilly, and in his yard. This particular pose shows him galloping down to the start before his 1991 victory in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe. I like the contrast of the quiet hands of Cash Asmussen lightly restraining the anxious, pre-race energy of the horse."
