"Trempolino, the first of three Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe winners I have sculpted, was my first commission. Laura and Emmanuel de Seroux, of Narvick International Bloodstock, purchased and managed the horse for their client, Bruce McNall. They had seen a small experimental bronze that I had done, and took the leap of faith to commission an unknown to do a horse of this stature. They have been helpful throughout my career, and for this, and for being the first to trust the abilities of a young artist, I will always be grateful."
